Most frequent questions and answers

You can place an order by visiting our online store or by calling our shop directly. Our staff will assist you in choosing the perfect cake and completing the order.

We recommend placing your order at least 2 days in advance. However, for custom or large orders, we suggest contacting us a few days or even weeks ahead to ensure availability.

CELEBRATION CAKES – for these we do not offer delivery. Cakes can also be collected from our shop during opening hours. 

WEDDING CAKES – Delivery is available at a charge based on mileage and time.

Changes can be made to your order no later than 2 weeks before the due date of your occasion. Any changes are to be made in writing and we reserve the right to amend the quotation if required.

No orders are final until a  50% deposit is paid in.

Balance is due a week before the cake  is due for collection or delivery. Payment can be made in cash or by bank transfer or by card online.

**Please note that deposits are non-refundable**.

Buttercream cakes must be refrigerated, and fondant cakes are best kept in a cool, dry place. We will provide some cake care instructions on collection. 


Cancellations must be made in writing.  Orders cancelled within 1 weeks of your scheduled date, the full balance is payable. Certain components may have already been purchased and work on some elements like sugar flowers. Please note ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE

We offer GLUTEN FREE and VEGAN options. In accordance with EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation 1169/2011, which is effective all allergens present in foods must be listed. This information will be listed with cakes supplied. *All products we make are produced in an environment where nuts may be present therefore cannot guarantee that traces will not be found in our products.

Below is a guide of what allergens are contained in some of our cakes. Please ask for more information if required.

We are registered with the HSE according to European Communities (Hygiene of Foodstuffs) Regulations 2006. I have also completed the Primary Course in the Principles and Practises of Food Safety.

Yes, we offer cake tastings for certain occasions like weddings. Please reach out to us to schedule a tasting appointment and discuss the details.
